Installfest 2008

From FOSUG

Install Fest 2008

Come join us and see this "Linux" everyone is talking about. Bring your friends and family. New users, old users, curious users, and even frightened users. Bring your computer or laptop. We can help walk you through the install, give you tips and pointers on using Linux, show you how to install programs, and WOW you with some of our "Toys". The session is free and open to everyone. If your not interested in replaceing your entire OS with Opensource. Come try Open office, a Wordprocessing and spreadsheet suit, or perhaps try your hand with "The Gimp" a photoshop replacement. All FREE.

We will have ISO's (digital copies) of the following distributions.

If there is a Distribution you are interested in, please let us know ahead of time and we will attempt to have ISOs ready for you. If you would like your own copy, please bring some blank CD's/DVD's or donate a buck.
