UpcomingNext FOSUG Meeting: Saturday March 20th, 2010March's Topic: Features and Usability of GIMPWhen faced with the high cost of Photoshop, some wonder if it's possible to find an image editor/creator that can get the job done without breaking the bank. The GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Program) is an open source, cross-platform program that offers powerful features that go way beyond MS Paint, for free. Ronnie Ugulano has been using Gimp as her primary image editor/creation program for over a year, and still has not hit the bottom of its bag tricks. Bring your laptop preloaded with Gimp, and join Ronnie and the Fresno Open Source Users Group for a hands-on tour of this very powerful program. If you would like to actively participate in this demonstration, and you will be bringing a Windows-based laptop, you can: We will be meeting in The Clovis Public Safety Community Room at: 1233 Fifth Street Clovis, CA 93612 the 3rd Saturday from 3:30-5:30 for all of 2010. We are very happy to have a new home, and look forward to all we can learn and teach in the coming year. FlyerHave something to hand out to interested ones: Media:Flyer.pdf
